Glass Sculpture

Here are a few images of my latest pieces. The first one, called Trans-Form, is a three dimensional development of the two dimentional card-based Geometrics pieces.

‘Trans-Form’ was shown at Torre Abbey as part of Tamed – TACO 3D – an exhibition that has ‘Mother and Child’ by Damien Hirst as its centre piece. All three are currently on show at the National Trust’s Greenway, former home of Agatha Christie.

These images are of my second glass sculpture, this one is called Perspection and takes the idea of angles and reflections one more step. The piece is intended to be viewed rotating and it is the movement of the reflections that is the key thing. Click play on the video below to see the piece rotating.

The video is sideways because I filmed it with the camera sideways in order to get the piece in shot better.

These images are of the piece called Inner Core. The pyramid shaped central core suspends cantilevered layers of glass, themselves forming a pyramid shape.
