Spanish weekend

Just had a few days (at the beginning of November) on the Costa Blanca. Can’t say I’d rush back there – too built up for my liking, but we had hot sun, blue skies, cool sea, cheap wine and relaxed time. For a last minute trip (only decided to go two weeks before we went!) it was a good long weekend – just what was needed. Mind you, getting out of the plane was a bit of a shock! Hot sunshine in Spain, cold rain in UK. Oh well.

The image below is of Guadalest, a town on the top of a hill in the middle of mountains. Charming.
